Arizona SAR Gives Declaration Of Independence Presentation in Glendale

On May 16, members from across Arizona gave a presentation of the Declaration of Independence and its response at the Glendale Public Library.  An audience of more than 50 people saw how word of the declaration spread among the public through the voices of  a dispatch rider, tavern owners, a reverend, a printer, a minuteman, a merchant, two patriot women and a Continental Army officer.  This presentation was very well received, and we are thankful to all who attended.  We are also thankful to Glendale for this opportunity — and the free ice cream afterward!
